Birth is a spiritual, mental and physical act that takes well rounded preparation from everyone involved. As a Traditional Community Birth Attendant, trained in the ancient art of midwifery, I help guide women through nurturing, and arukah as they prepare for birth. Giving birth to a baby is so much more than a physical phenomenon; it engages parents to be in a transformational experience. Labor and Birth are key life events full of emotion and meaning. It is my belief that every pregnant and laboring woman should have all of the care and support she needs during this vulnerable time in her life.
